Sr. Associate, Insurance Sales

Our client is a growing independent insurance brokerage located in the heart of Arlington, VA. We’re seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) P&C Sales Associate to join their hyper-talented team. This role focuses on building strong local networks and driving profitable growth through new business acquisition and customer retention. Responsibilities

  • Drive New Business Growth: Employ consultative sales strategies to actively prospect and secure new insurance clients.
  • Streamline Sales Processes: Assist in the efficient processing of new business, including direct customer contact to finalize sales and service transactions.
  • Maximize Sales Potential: Proactively identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with team of Agents.
  • Develop & Implement Marketing Strategies: Contribute to and execute effective marketing plans alongside the President to expand market reach.
  • Target Strategic Prospects: Identify high-potential mass marketing opportunities within the existing client base and through community outreach.
  • Achieve Consistent Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly new business sales goals.
  • Enhance Client Retention: Conduct thorough follow-ups on new policies to maintain high retention rates and unlock further cross-selling possibilities.
  • Ensure Seamless Customer Service: Coordinate effectively with other departments to deliver exceptional customer service experiences.
  • Serve as a Trusted Point of Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for addressing customer inquiries regarding policy establishment and new account status.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • An insurance license in Property & Casualty with 2-5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Bilingually Fluent in English & Spanish.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, motivated to learn and grow in a professional sales organization.
  • Professional business acumen, strong presence and confidence.

Preferred qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant business field is a plus.
  • Resourceful team player that can contribute and accept new ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to develop outside of this role as well.
