Manager, Accounting Ops

As the Accounting Manager, you’d be joining a diverse group of hyper-talented professionals with global data center and real estate expertise that’s supported by an incredibly strong investor group. This position reports directly to the company’s VP of Accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 2+ accounting staff and collaborate closely with regional controller functions, currently including Israel and China, to integrate such regional operations with corporate accounting processes.
  • Review lease abstractions performed by the staff in accordance with applicable standard; and work closely with the Billing/AR Manager to ensure quality and timeliness of billing cycles.
  • Review subledger to GL reconciliations to ensure completeness of billings and revenue-related account activities such as deferred revenue.
  • Perform period-end close activities, including system close, journal entries, reconciliations, BS & PL flux analyses, and presentations to management.
  • Work with the CAO and the CMO in analyzing sales activities in the Company’s efforts to define and augment product offerings in order to better align sales strategy.
  • Actively manage sales/legal/finance review process to ensure quality controls over contracting process.

  • Identify system or process inefficiencies or issues and provide solutions for enhancements.
  • Support accounting department talent growth and retention by actively managing a cross-functional rotation program that allows multi-faceted training and learning opportunities for the workforce.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant Finance and Accounting experience.
  • 2+ years of managerial responsibilities.
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA license.
  • Strong exposure to GL and Revenue Operations with the versatility to develop outside of these functions as well.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Big Four Public Accounting Background is a plus.
  • Experience in a Data Center, Construction, and/or Real Estate environment is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, diverse, and fast-paced environment.
